Each question has four options (aside from Notices, which only have one) that can be applied to it.

Full Masking: They will only be able to see their own reply, as well as only probes directed towards them.

Partial Masking:  When this option is selected, the participants will only be able to see the other participant's answers once they have already submitted their own response. When they reply, the webpage will refresh and all responses to the question will be revealed above their own. This ensures that they are not swayed by the responses of other participants while still allowing them to comment on responses from other participants. they will also be able to see probes directed at the other participants.

Mandatory: When a question is marked as Mandatory, the participants will not be able to see anything that follows it in the discussion. It will appear as the bottom of the webpage, with a message beneath it letting them know that the question is Mandatory, and they need to respond to it in order to continue. This ensures that they complete the questions in the intended order and that they are not shown any stimuli before you intend. Typically, the participants are alerted in an intro or in the recruit that all questions must be answered, so don't worry that the participants will run through your discussion and only answer the mandatory questions. It's more of a tool used for controlling the flow of the discussion.

Limit to Group Tags: This option, once selected, will reveal the list of the group tags that you have added to your board. With this, you can make a question visible to only a subset of your participants, and it will be hidden from any participants who do not have the selected group tag.
