How Do I Enable Cookies In Firefox?

If you find that you are getting logged out of QualBoard after you've logged back in (as in, it just goes back to the log-in screen after your password has been accepted), you may need to enable cookies. This lesson shows how to enable cookies in Mozilla Firefox.

Open the Options Menu

The first step is to open the Options menu. To do this, click the three stacked lines (also called a "hamburger menu") in the top right corner.

Next click the gear icon labeled "Preferences."

Click "Privacy" on the left to access the options for Cookies.

Enable Cookies

Next, we'll need to tell Firefox to accept cookies. Under history, next to "Firefox will:," select "Remember History" to have Firefox remember browsing, download, form and search history and keep cookies from the websites you visit.

Alternatively, you can select "Use custom settings for history" to customize your options.

If you do this, be sure to check the boxes for "Accept cookies from sites" and "Accept third-party cookies."

Make sure the drop down next to "Keep until:" says "they expire."

That's it. You're done! Now you can log back into QualBoard and complete your study.
