How do I Clear Browser Cache In Internet Explorer 8?

This lesson shows you how to clear the cookies and temporary Internet files, also known as the cache, from Internet Explorer 8 (sometimes called IE8). Clearing the cache will often clear up some unexpected behavior in the discussion board, such as missing posts or images.

Open the Delete Browsing History menu

First, we'll need to open the Delete Browsing History menu. To do this, click "Safety" in the upper right corner of your browser. When you click "Safety," a list of options will drop down. Select "Delete Browsing History..." from this list, and the Delete Browsing History menu will open.

Select the options you want to delete or keep

Here, you'll need to check the boxes that correspond with what you want to do. For the purposes of just clearing your cookies and cache, you might want to just choose the first 3 options as displayed in the image above. Next, click "Delete."

After you click "Delete," the Delete Browsing History window will close. You'll need to log out and log back into QualBoard. After you log back in, you should be able to continue with your study.
